Grade: Freshman
Favorite Subjects: English and Latin
Interests: I participate in field hockey, track and field, key club, ski club, the breakfast club, chorus, and various theater productions. Outside of school I spend my time sketching, listening to music, binge-watching cartoons, and reading comics. I believe that there is a definite surplus of media existent both on paper and online and it would be foolish not to utilize such easily accessible information. Also, if there was one food I would have to survive on for the rest of my life it would be ramen.
Grace Shartle
Pop Culture
Grade: Junior
Favorite Subject: AP English Language and Composition
Interests: I am a very enthusiastic, ambitious, and outgoing individual and I love turning this energy into passion for not only my writing, but also my athletics. I participate in field hockey, cross country, and track and field. My involvement has graciously led me to find an escape from my stressors through a therapeutic workout. I would say I am very interested in running as far as a passion of mine. Although It may have a tedious or negative connotation I'm so grateful to be able to use this skill that is so easily transferable and useful. I am also a member of Camp Hill Mini Thon which I am a firm believer in helping the kids and making sure they are not alone in their fight with cancer. I very much enjoy discovering meaning and taking away new information and perspectives from literature and I hope that my audience can do the same with the work that I write.
